Ramsbury is a picturesque Wiltshire village in the beautiful North Wessex Downs. The Avon is a self-contained ground-floor chalet within the grounds of the former Crown and Anchor. It has free parking, a private entrance, private patio and access to the garden. One well-behaved dog is welcome; we simply ask that pets stay off the furniture and bed. A short walk takes you to The Bell pub and restaurant, the Post Office, scenic riverside walks and the renowned Ramsbury Brewery & Distillery.

Market town of Wallingford (setting for “Midsomer Murders”) is short walk, many amenities including boat rides on the River Thames an outdoor heated pool (summer), great restaurants and shops including Waitrose.

Gather in style and comfort in our peaceful, fully equipped home in an idyllic racing village. Our large, private garden offers a hot tub, outdoor cooking and dining, and lawn games. We have private access to a stream at the back of the garden, with some very friendly (hungry) ducks. Get competitive with table tennis, croquet, and an extensive board game collection.
