Tomacara, a 1947 rustic craftsman Shangri-La with knotty pine interiors, vaulted great room overlooking a private no-wake lake next to Manistee Forest. This peaceful setting is designed for quiet enjoyment we kindly ask that guests are 25+ (ID required) and respect the original woodwork and antiques. Pool use is at your own risk with no diving or unsupervised minors. As sound echoes on the water, please move spirited gatherings indoors by 11 PM and always keep the private easement road clear.

Spokane Retreat is great for relaxing on the back deck, by the fire pit or in the cozy living space after a day of activities in the surrounding areas. Located near the North Country Trail, Pere Marquette River and Big Star Lake with an easy drive to Ludington, Pentwater and Manistee. Nearby recreation activities include hiking, fishing, kayaking, boating, off-roading and winter snowmobiling and ice fishing. Inside a TV and fireplace create another comfortable area for relaxing at day's end.

Outdoor opportunities located near the house include: Ludington State Park, Bike Trails, Pere Marquette river and many other fishing and outdoor recreation areas.

With over 150 Lakes, 400 mi of streams, and 17 Rivers. And over 300 miles of ORV, ATV, and groomed snowmobile trails, there is something for everyone in Baldwin!

Come stay at this no frills rustic cabin. You are in the middle of the woods on this property of over 13 acres, but are less than 15 minutes from downtown Baldwin. Close to Big Star Lake, beach access, and the public boat launch. Near multiple access points to the Pere Marquette River. In the winter warm up around the wood stove after snowmobiling. In the summer cool off in the AC after visiting the beach. Relax around the fire pit and enjoy the 6 burner gas grill.

Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

Built in 2023. Our A-Frame style home is located on thirty acres of maple, pine and sassafras rising out of a blanket of ferns set in the Manistee National Forest. Over a mile of well maintained, hiker only, trail winds through the woods. Hosting only adults, this property was designed for romantic getaways. This peaceful setting is only a 20-minute drive to downtown Ludington & Lake Michigan, where you can find a nice meal, hit the beach or catch the S.S. Badger!
