Cottage in private game reserve, Little Karoo

Off grid cottage set in the heart of the Little Karoo within the Touwsberg Nature and Game Reserve. The reserve is well known for it's biodiverse fauna and flora and stunning scenery. Located off Route 62, midway between Barrydale and Ladismith, accessible with an average car/sedan, that has at least 17cm off ground clearance. The Cottage is well equipped, with indoor fireplace, cosy and completely private - the perfect Winter stay. Note: cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk; no wifi.

Pink House In The Klein Karoo

The Wine Store, well known as the Pink House – A private retreat in the Klein Karoo, offering open-plan living, rustic charm, and modern comfort. The spacious upstairs bedroom provides a peaceful escape, while warm finishes create an inviting atmosphere. Amenities: Fully equipped kitchen, cozy lounge, indoor fireplace, outdoor seating, free Wi-Fi, and parking. Perfect for couples, or solo travelers seeking tranquility, a farm experience and a deep connection to South Africa’s landscapes.

Bontebok House - Drie Kuilen

Bontebok house is a modern off-grid (only solar power) cottage in a remote valley of our reserve. Enjoy the quietness and wildlife on your doorstep! It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a fridge, an oven and a gas stove. There's also a fireplace, braai on the veranda and wood fired hot tub. This house does not have WiFi or cell reception. 4km from the house lies our yard with free WiFi access. Firewood is available at our shop for R50/crate.

The Studio @ The Place

Set in a secluded Klein Karoo valley at the end of a private road, the Studio is a peaceful retreat surrounded by wild landscapes, mountains and spectacular sunsets. It sleeps up to 4 and offers wrap-around views, a private plunge pool, outdoor bath and twin showers, braai and shaded outdoor living. Fully equipped for self-catering. The farmhouse is nearby, but the Studio is completely private and not overlooked. Peaceful seclusion conveniently located near Route 62 and the N2.

Wolverfontein Karoo : Zara Cottage

Zara Cottage is a 1930's art deco styled home on an isolated farm off Route 62. Three separate bedrooms, lounge, open plan kitchen/dining room with working Dover stove for those chilly winter evenings. Fully equipped self catering. 2 bathrooms. Exclusive use plunge pool. Eskom power with solar backup to run the lights, a plug point and wifi during loadshedding. Wolverfontein is the heart of the Klein Karoo.

Oakron @Patatsfontein Stay luxury, secluded tent

Welcome to Patatsfontein Stay! Nestled in the Patatsfontein valley, at the foot of the Wabooms mountains, you'll find a little piece of heaven. We are part of the Pietersfontein Conservation area and it's here that you will find Oakron @Patatsfontein Stay. Oakron is a secluded glamping tent, tucked away under centuries old oak trees, which provides ample privacy and breathtaking views.
