This cottage is located in the heart of Dana Point, a beautiful and uncongested beach community! A 5 minute walk finds you at the nearby town center and new downtown area where you can find restaurants, nightclubs and shopping. Down the street is Dana Point Harbor/marina and the famous Doheny Beach surfing and park or get-away to Catalina Island or whale watching! The Cottage is a great pet friendly with enclosed front and rear yards, a great alternative to the over priced resorts.

Historic "Speak Easy" Cottage (circa 1923)

Vintage beach cottage w/ modern-day conveniences (central heat & A/C), Apple TV, DVD, vintage appliances, incl. dishwasher) on the quiet-end of Balboa Island; tree-lined street, steps to beaches on South Bayfront; 2 blocks to Balboa Island ferry and Island Market. Cottage was built in 1923 and served as a "Speak Easy" (a bar during the prohibition era ) with many famous actors, musicians, singers patronizing the site (John Wayne, James Cagney & Humphrey Bogart) just to name a few.

A short walk to the National Forest and a 10-minute drive to both Lake Arrowhead and Lake Gregory, the historic Twin Peaks Lodge offers 21 unique cabins with a top-rated restaurant on site. Our 3 rules: no smoking no pets (sorry, no exceptions) no grilling or bonfires (we're surrounded by trees!) Some things to note: we have a microwave & small fridge at the cabin, and our restaurant is open for dinner and there's a little market open late just next door!

2 Bungalows + 2 Baths just ½ mile from the beach, HB Pier & Main St! The Main Bungalow has a full kitchen, built-in dining nook, queen sofa bed & twin sleeper chair. The 2nd Bungalow offers a queen bed, kitchenette, table for two, sofa & TV. A spacious private patio connects both with dining, BBQ, sail shades & a cozy fire pit lounge. Includes one off-street parking space—perfect for families or friends to share while enjoying Huntington Beach.

The Crow's Nest Studio - walk to beach and town

Oceanside studio west of coast highway, 1 block to the restaurants, breweries and shops of Downtown Oceanside, 4 block walk to beautiful Oceanside Beach. Off-street, alley parking for 1 car. This is a 2nd floor studio accessed by a steep flight of stairs (please see picture to ensure staircase will not be a concern). We are also close to the train which can be noisy.

Our cozy little beach cottage is perfect for small families, working professionals, or couples who want to enjoy a nice relaxing stay near the beach and LegoLand. Guests love to explore downtown and the pier by foot where there are over 30 coffee shops, breweries, and local foodie spots. This is a smoke free property in a very quiet neighborhood.

Relaxing Cottage - minutes from the beach

The beach cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Orange County, 5 minutes away from John Wayne Airport and South Coast Plaza (largest shopping center on the West Coast), and about 15 minutes from Newport, Huntington and Laguna Beach. But if you’re planning on visiting Disneyland, you can expect a 20-30 minute drive, depending on traffic.
