Unwind in a restored log cabin just for two with special comforts and seclusion, perched amidst oak trees, with a detached screened porch/fireplace. There is ONLY ONE guest cabin on 26 acres with our Lake Travis shoreline in the distance. A pastoral sunrise view of deer across the field begins the day. Central A/C, smart tv, clawfoot tub/shower, cotton bedding, duvet and robes. Propane grill. See the night sky, Wildlife/flowers, birding, stars-all yours. We opened Chanticleer Log Cabin in 1996!

The Cabin has its own driveway/parking.There is a well defined path, 5 min walk to the River, where you can relax, picnic,swim, Kayak or fish. At Cabin we have Volleyball, Cornhole, Horseshoes, Tetherball, Fire-pit wood, pool for you and your family to enjoy in warm weather with privacy. *Sorry but we will not be able to host parties.

Cabin in the Woods is the only property on 7.5 acres of woods, wildlife and peaceful seclusion. It is 20 minutes to Wimberley square, and 20 minutes to Blanco square. You can watch deer and wild turkeys during the day and see the stars at night. This is a great place to get away from it all and just be with yourself and nature. It is great for kids and pets. Pets are allowed at $30 per pet Additional amenity packages such as grocery delivery, breakfast tacos, and Happy Hour are also available.

"Little Green" Cabin on 28 Acres near Wimberley

Little Haven is an official 28-acre wildlife preserve and family farm 6 miles north of Wimberley. We manage the land for song birds, owls and other raptors. We have horses, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. You are welcome to hike and explore anywhere on the land. The sunsets are amazing, and star gazing is the best in Texas (Wimberley is one of only three certified "Dark Sky" cities in Texas). He was an LBJ mentor and involved in the push for funding for Mansfield Dam along with Lyndon Johnson and US Senator JJ Mansfield... It’s been said Johnson received the blessing of the Texas Democratic elites to run for a US Senate seat in Judge Starnes’ lakeside cabin in Volente.” -Will Taylor

I moved out to Wimberley in 2017 and fell in love with all that the land and nature had to offer. I loved it so much I decided to build Hawk's Hollow (an homage to the resident Red-shouldered hawk who resides here), as place for others to experience its magic.
