STAY at Ahangama

STAY at Ahangama is a 1950s built villa renovated to its current standard in 2016. The villa is very spacious and lets in plenty of light, especially in the main livingroom area. The villa features a middle courtyard with a fish pond and a pool with a deck to cool off the usually hot temperature in Galle. You can reach Ahangama beach within five minutes (walking), and Mirissa beach or Unawatuna beach in 20 minutes by vehicle. The Galle Fort is within a 25 minute drive from our property.

It is an ideal home base to explore the area. Everything you need is provided in stylish, designer luxury. The washing machine and dryer make travelling easy and hiring a scooter from Epic Rides or using either Pick me app or our trusted tuk drivers allows easy beach and local historic site access.

Welcome to beach villa on Weligama Bay in Sri Lanka! Down a narrow, leafy lane off the main Galle-Colombo road, our new, modern villa overlooks the sand and surf to a limitless horizon. The villa has a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and an adjacent lounge space. The two en suite, a/c bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, will accommodate four guests. Free WiFi of course. Weligama is only a five minute drive away and Mirissa Beach is less than fifteen minutes.

While tucked away in tranquility, you’re still close to everything: Ahangama is just 10 minutes by scooter, and Kabalana Beach only 6 minutes away. We also have a scooter for rent if you need one.
