Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly 2 bedroom cottage in the castle grounds of friendly Kidwelly. From the cottage the castle and Tapas bar is just 50m away. Our welsh retreat is over 400 years old and provides an ideal base when visiting the Pembrey Country Park and beach, Welsh National Gardens and is situated just 45 minutes from the Gower and Saundersfoot. The quaint village of Kidwelly has cafes, pubs, deli’s and a pharmacy and post office all in walking distance.

Margaret's Cottage

The 150 year old cottage is up a quiet lane above the town of Burry Port. Guests love the view across the bay to the Gower and the peaceful country setting - with mature private garden, terrace & BBQ. There is wi-fi, Sky TV and a cosy dining room with a log burner for the colder days (logs provided). It’s close to the beach at Pembrey & the attractions of the Carmarthenshire countryside. The cottage is welcoming for couples, friends, solo adventurers, business travellers, & families.

The location makes it an excellent base for days out in every direction. You’re close to Kidwelly, with its historic castle and charming local atmosphere, and within easy reach of the coast for beach days, coastal walks and fresh sea air. Ffos Las Racecourse is nearby too, making the cottage a great choice for race days and events. When you want a bit more bustle, Carmarthen is just a short drive away for shops, cafés, restaurants and local amenities. Not suitable for anyone under 14

Soak in your exclusive electric hot tub and enjoy star gazing the unpolluted West Wales night skies. Take a short walk to relax and rejuvenate in the outdoor sauna and cold plunge pool.

Daisy’s Cottage is situated in the village of Pembrey in Carmarthenshire. It is within walking distance of a lovely coffee shop and Country Inn. Pembrey Country Park is less than a mile away with forestry walks and a beautiful sandy beach. It also has a ski slope and a miniature railway which runs during the summer holidays. Burry Port is the next village with harbour views and coastal walks.
