Lakes Creek Log Cabin

The two door "saddlebag" cabin is surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest and near McKee, a Kentucky Trailtown. Nestled in a small valley, our quaint cabin is the perfect mountain getaway. Built in 1894, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. If you are a history buff, interested in Appalachian culture, or just want a charming, outdoorsy and secluded getaway, this cabin is for you. Welcome to Pauline's Paradise! You can enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay in our 2 bedroom home, with an adjustable King bed in one and twin beds in the other. You'll find a full kitchen, washer/dryer, wifi and Roku TV. We welcome well behaved pets. Handicapped entrance ramp. We're 25 min. away from Natural Bridge, Sky Bridge, Red River Gorge, hiking, underground kayaking and more. We're less than an hour from Lexington. We ask that you refrain from smoking inside during your stay.

Ideal for couples, it is a one bedroom with walk-out deck, large front porch, and a tv room with futon. It has a well-appointed kitchen area with new appliances, cherry and tongue and groove pine paneling throughout, vaulted ceiling, solid oak flooring, large picture windows, and a tv/work area.

Bella Vista sits on 175 acres of pasture, woods, trails and a beautiful creek in the Red Lick Valley. Once a large-scale horse farm we currently have only four pasture puffs who you will see grazing around the cabin. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, walk the creek looking for Kentucky agates, geodes, explore the trails, or just take solace in the peace and quiet of the cabin. We bought the farm in 2020 and are in the process of bringing it back to its glory days.

Seclusion is a completely custom, hand-crafted cabin complete with a treehouse room, koi pond, rocky landscape, observatory tower and more in an unbeatable location. This cabin is located just a mile or two off the Slade, KY exit on top of a ridge in Red River Gorge. Built by Paul Rhodes in his spare time, this passion project took over six years to complete and boasts a uniqueness unrivaled by other accommodations.
