The location is 5 minutes walk to Glasson village with it's award winning pubs and restaurants including Grogan's and The Villiger as well as The Wineport Lodge. The renowned Golf Course and Glasson Lake House Hotel on the banks of Lough Ree is just 1.5km. If boating, sailing or fishing is an attraction there are several marinas within a few mins drive.

A lovely hiking trail is just up the hill past St. Patrick's Church. Located in the village of New Quay on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, we are on the route to Ballyvaughan and the Ciffs of Moher. (A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

Within 20mins you will be in Glendalough with incredible walks like The Spinc. Russborough House and Parklands is 15 mins drive away. Delicious food can be found all with in 15 mins, The Hollywood Inn, The Ballymore Inn and The Poulaphouca House and Falls. Hollywood has a gorgeous cafe and flower shop offering beautiful gifts.
