Mountain Bike trails are just 1/2 mile away. Front and back porches to enjoy nature, tall trees, and ravines. Fully-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace. The Garden Apartment (PSTR Permit #2025-20) is a quiet and relaxing home away from home to enjoy after exploring the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Garden Apartment features a large bedroom with queen-sized bed, a den with a large sandstone wood-burning fireplace, full kitchen and bathroom with a shower. You'll surely fall in love with this cozy rental! There is a sandstone patio, which offers a shaded sitting area and grill for outdoor cooking, plus a fire ring for evening bonfires.

Enjoy a comfortable experience at this centrally-located home 1 block away from the strip in Highland Square. Central air, 2 bedrooms with brand new queen beds. Large kitchen with dishwasher. Netflix & Prime Video on tv's. Comfortable leather couches, front and back deck, and fire pit. Being 5 minutes from Downtown Akron, 35 minutes from Downtown Cleveland, and 10 minutes from Cuyahoga Valley National Park, there is a lot of nightlife, hiking and biking in the area. All are welcome!

The JoKo Cottage

Welcome to our cozy little cottage built in the early 1930’s by a then well-known artist, Joe Koch (JoKo was his artist name). Joe designed and built the cottage and is full of his unique style. It was featured in 1950 in The Akron Beacon Journal with lots of pictures! All of the wormy chestnut wood (wood with holes in it) is original to the cottage. Even the tile by the fireplace is original. In this place many beautiful things were created. We hope you find beauty here too!

Our house is located in the middle of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park which is renowned for cycling and hiking, with countless trails of varying degrees of difficulty. Bicycles can be rented a mere 1/2 mile away. We welcome visitors from all walks of life.
