We booked this little cabin for a last minute baby moon/fishing trip and we had a great time! The cabin was clean,peaceful and had everything we needed to cook meals etc. Michelle reached out before we came and gave us the lay of the land and how to check in she also gave us a good fishing recommendation which was super nice! Overall great trip to Arkansas! 🤍

The cabin was an excellent home away from home. Comfortable bedrooms and a nice kitchen and living room. Hot tub was nice and warm. When a thunderstorm hit on late Friday night, Edie was up Saturday morning checking on the pool, hot tub and exterior of cabin to confirm no damage and that we had electricity. Definitely showed she cared about her guests. I would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Romantic Getaway cabin. From the moment we walked in we knew it was special. The warm bread was a welcome treat after a long trip and the bed was the best we’ve ever slept on away from home! Thank you so much and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

This is a great place! Our favorite things are the view, the direct access to the river, and the hot tub. Boat access for the river at Sneed's Creek access is a 1/2 mile down the road. The bird and nature watching is high level. We saw bald eagles, kingfishers, otters and even heard wild turkeys on Sunday morning. Great place to get away for our family of five plus two dogs!

It was a wonderful and amazing place to stay. We were very excited with how everything was completely as it was in photos and description. The host was is amazing person. She always on top of everything. Even though the bad storming weather you was checking up on us. She was an amazing host.

Our stay here was absolutely delightful! The host did a fantastic job of making this a wonderful place to stay. The decorations inside and out were lovely, and the atmosphere was cozy. The outdoor setting was peaceful and scenic. Wyndi was a fantastic host, and we appreciated her warm hospitality. We would definitely recommend this place!

This is a wonderful, gorgeous property with a relaxing atmosphere. It was just what my husband and I were looking for on our vacation. We both extremely enjoy being outdoors so we greatly enjoyed the spacious back porch to relax in the evenings after a day of hiking and horseback riding. The hottub was icing on the cake for me personally, I loved soaking while watching the sunset. Our cabin was extremely clean and accommodating - it had everyrhing we needed to be "at home" and breathe easy. If you love the outdoors and are thinking of visiting the Ozark St. Francis area, you need to stay here. We will definitely be back to visit again!

We had a wonderful time. Exactly what we were hoping for...with the exception of it being very windy. It was a very nice time and place to get away from everything. Thank you!

We have stayed here before and enjoy it each time we go. Our dogs love it and hate to leave at the end of our trip.

perfect getaway! off the beaten path, a hidden gem by the river. the view was beautiful! we stopped here to fish, but the wind advisory had other plans, so we enjoyed relaxing on the porch just as well. host was fantastic! place was very cozy, clean, furnished comfortably and thoughtful accommodations provided. I highly recommend 👌

This cabin was absolutely lovely. It was exactly as described & had small touches that made it more like home. We were fortunate to meet Travis & his son-which was great to put faces to names, bend ears for local info, & simply socialize about things in general. Both were very friendly & willing to help in all ways. The only “con” is the driveway-which is still “under construction”. It did make walking in & out a bit challenging for any person with a walking disability. But, knowing that is still underway-we would absolutely rent again!

Great host, communication was superb. I’m not tech savoy and had a little difficult using a modern tv with all the apps.

We have stayed all over the Mountain View area. This was by far the best location. The cabin was built to last, not just some cabin built with Home Depot lumber with the tags still on. It snowed the 2nd day we arrived and the temps were down in the 2s and 3s, Courtney sent Carey and and Tanner over to deliver extra firewood for the wood burning stove, which kept the place so cozy we didn't even use the central heat and air. The stars were so bright and amazing, the creek, bubbling across the field was bathwater clear. We will definitely be returning this summer to float around in the creek and do some fishing. It was just what we needed to unplug and get away from the city. Best hosts we've had to date!

Barbara is a wonderful, proactive host. We have stayed multiple times and loved it every time. The trails are well kept and her map is easy to navigate. The view from the back porch and the creek that runs through the trails adds that extra peace and connection with God we were needing. The linens and home are cottage quaint and always immaculate. Highly recommend!

A great little cabin , so quiet and peaceful. We wanted to get away from it all and it was perfect place to do so . We really enjoyed the stay . Wonderful wildlife around the cabin got some nice pictures. Great host very responsive and friendly. Clean cabin . Would definitely stay again .

We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. My husband used Jenkins Guide Service and had a great day on the river catching trout. Beautiful scenery and a cute little town

This was our 2nd stay at the Rustic Retreat, it's just a great place. Just as described. As mentioned in the description, there's no Internet or cable TV but they have you set for entertainment with the largest DVD selection I've seen since Blockbuster closed lol. Games and books as well. So peaceful to just sit and disconnect for a weekend. Kitchen is well stocked too. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Hillcrest hideaway. We spent the majority of our time on the deck watching birds and reading. It was secluded enough to feel very private but still close enough to town if we needed anything. The house itself was VERY clean and organized. We also loved the book of local recommendations so we could easily find places to eat/visit. Highly recommend if you need a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back!

We had extended family from 3 different states meet up here for our family Christmas. The place was amazing! Amazing views from all 3 decks. We put my 84 year old mother in the only bedroom on the main (upper) floor with the main kitchen. My husband and I took the downstairs bedroom and we put all the young adults in the bunkhouse…it worked out perfectly. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. Everything needed to prepare 3 meals a day for 10 people was provided. The nearest large grocery store is approximately 40 minutes away, which was not a problem for us and just added to the secluded location we were hoping for. Being allowed to bring our fur babies was an added bonus. We hope to make this place our yearly tradition for family Christmas. Book now…you won’t be disappointed. Just as an FYI….the last several miles leading to the house is gravel, which again wasn’t a problem for us. Can’t wait to go back!

Very cozy cabin. Perfect for what we needed.

My husband and I came for a getaway. The house/cabin was perfect!! Everything was exactly as described, but better! The cabin has everything you would need such as coffee pods (multiple flavors), creamer for coffee, popcorn, gas grill, ice cube trays in freezer, pots, pans, and pizza pan with cutter, comfy bed, radio, etc... My husband enjoyed fishing off the bank and caught a smallmouth bass. Lake Charles is a beautiful place to be right on the bank of! We will definitely be back!
