Lovely 2 bedroom Hornsea cottage close to the sea

Converted from a grade 2 listed Victorian railway station just a few minutes walk to Hornsea’s award winning beaches and historic town centre with a variety of shops,restaurants and other holiday activities. Whether you like walking,cycling,fishing or just chilling out on the beach then Hornsea has it all. A good base to explore all the other Yorkshire seaside towns and local countryside. We are also very dog friendly and (due to the size of the property) can take up to two, well behaved, dogs.

Byre Cottage - 5* Stone Cattle shed Conversion.

Byre Cottage is a charming little cattle shed on private land that was restored and converted to a very high standard in 2019. It has it's own private entrance, private parking with EV charging point (Additional charge) and a fully enclosed south facing outside area with garden furniture. It lies in the rural village of Boynton, just 3 miles from the popular Yorkshire coastal resort & fishing town of Bridlington. I (Chris) live in the Old Forge with my husband & usually greet you upon arrival.

We are proud that our seaside cabin with a private sunny garden is one of the top rated homes on Airbnb! It’s a step away from the Transpennine Way, the beach, and Hornsea Mere. We welcome one small, well trained dog and two people. Our super-king bed can be split into a twin on request. There’s a lovely hot shower, smart TV, Wifi, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, and microwave. The bed, breakfast bar and comfy sofas all overlook the private garden which has bifolding doors onto the deck.

Spread across 2 main large rooms with original beamwork from the converted barn, The Annexe is situated in a beautiful, secluded location, whilst being a stone’s throw from local beaches, walks, attractions and wildlife. Welcome to “Pear Cottage” Walk in through the front door to find a characterful cottage located just a short walk to Skipsea and ten minutes drive to Hornsea town center. Pop the kettle on & make your way to the secluded tranquil rear garden and enjoy the sounds of the countryside. Take in the sunset at what is said to be the sunniest spot in Skipsea before getting cosy in front of the wood burning fire for the night. Wake up being spoilt for choice with many dog friendly beaches nearby.

The Pump House @ Pockthorpe

The Pump House is nestled within the Ancient village of Pockthorpe in the beautiful countryside of East Yorkshire. It is a renovated 200 year old farm building which has been lovingly restored to retain its original features including a deep well with glass top (reinforced!) pulleys and metal work. Whether you're seeking a romantic retreat or a fun-filled getaway, The Pump House offers a haven for relaxation or as a base to explore the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds and amazing coastline.

All local amenities, including pubs, restaurants, take aways, and shops are within a short walk. Free road side parking outside of the cottage. Hedon is situated in a convenient location to explore the East Yorkshire coast and it’s beaches, Burton Constable Hall, the city of Kingston Upon Hull, and is within reach of Beverley, Hornsea and Spurn Point.
