My friends and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at The Runaway Chalet. The driveway was a little tricky due to recent snowfall, but April suggested an alternative approach to enter driveway. We plan to return next year!

Peter and his Wife were amazing hosts! They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and were so kind and happy to do it. The airbnb was darling! It matched the description exactly and was spotless. My cousin and I actually talked about how we haven’t stayed in an airbnb that clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfy! The location is also amazing. You can walk to town or drive less than 5 minutes into town. We will be telling our friends and family to stay here when they visit Highlands next. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Great location near Brevard and an easy drive to Asheville. The home was well kept and the host did a great job proactively working with us on the check-in. Everything we needed was available in the home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This place exceeded all of our expectations, we had an incredible stay. We had a group of 12 staying, 7 adults / 5 children. There was enough space and room for us to spread out. The tennis court is a game changer for activities for the kids. The fire pit, the tennis room, the record player and a stack of classic vinyl were some of my favorites. It was all just so great. It's in a great location 2 minutes from downtown. Highly recommend this cabin! We hope to stay again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kathy's place! The chalet was gorgeous and the surrounding landscape was serene and peaceful. My family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving together, frying up a turkey and utilizing the kitchen to whip up a great meal. All the rooms were comfortable and the amenities were perfect. I definitely would consider Kathy's chalet again if we ever come back to the area!

Mary’s cabin was perfect for what we wanted. Number 1 was the view. This cabin had an incredible mountain vista. Number 2 was privacy. Mary’s cabin is extremely private. Number 3 was easily accessible to town. Often, to get privacy you have to give up accessibility to stores and restaurants. Mary’s cabin is just minutes from grocery stores, restaurants and downtown Franklin. Incredible value for the money. Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay in Robbinsville !! We felt at peace in the mountains with such a beautiful view. The home was absolutely beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed. We took the recommendations for the hikes and dinner. Both were fantastic. Thank you !!!

This was a great cabin! We enjoyed our stay (and even extended our stay by one night). The cabin is easy to find, there is a nice carport to park under and the views are great. The bedroom was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The bathroom was excellent, (the steam shower is a great way to start the day!), and the living room was very cozy with the fireplace going! I would 100% recommend this cabin to a friend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gareth’s house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the location was incredibly convenient. The fenced in yard and deck was perfect for our dog and toddler. We had one small hiccup with the fridge (wasn’t cooling correctly) and Gareth was extremely helpful and responsive. He provided us with ice and coolers, and had another delivered ASAP. We truly appreciated all he did! The house is close to great biking and hiking, and the hot tub was great for relaxing in the evenings. We love the area, and look forward to returning next year!
