Beautiful home, full of character. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

I'm not sure what to say that already hasn't. We have just had an absolutely lovely Easter weekend at Michelle and Johns wonderful cottage. The place is thoughtfully decorated throughout and has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was modern and spotlessly clean with thoughtful little touches like dog towels, grocery essentials and soaps. The location is very peaceful but find yourself a mere five minute walk to the centre of Marsden and all it has to offer. Having stayed at many Airbnb rentals, this is without doubt equally one of the best and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying. We will be returning to Marsden and hope we will be able to stay once again as it ticks all boxes. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person but Michelle and John's communication was so quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

I had the best staycation with a few friends. Had a lovely stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, which made everything super easy. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful few days at Helen and Frank’s place. We felt really at home and enjoyed everything about our stay: the beautiful cottage, the comfy bed, the spacious wet room, the welcoming notes, the provisions, the outside space, Moggy May, Percy, the cockerel, sorry AND Percy’s mum, and of course, Helen and Frank themselves. We had a totally relaxing few days, enjoyed fantastic days out at the beach at Formby, RHS Garden Bridgewater and, on Helen’s recommendation, a great day at Lytham St Anne’s, walking on the beach and playing crazy golf. Had an excellent meal at the Cavendish Arms and great takeaway pizza from the place just down the road. Would thoroughly recommend😃

Booked to celebrate my mum’s 60th Birthday, the cottage is beautifully furnished and has all you could possibly need for a stay - the coffee machine and treats left for us was an incredibly nice touch. There were plenty of beautiful walking opportunities around the cottage and the cottage is ideally placed for access to the Peak District. The pub over the road was good for breakfasts and ideally located! The beds and linen were very comfortable, and we had a lovely nights sleep, woke up feeling well rested. Unfortunately we had an issue with the shower, a faulty seal led to the bathroom flooding and water through the kitchen ceiling - this was very promptly communicated to the host who was proactive and sent someone the following morning for the necessary repairs - we were assured the issue would be permanently resolved once everything has had a chance to dry out. We thank Claire for her kindness in offering us another stay, which we look forward to!

Lovely cosy house and perfect for a meet up for 4 friends spread across the country! Very comfortable with everything we needed.

The airbnb is massive and beautiful. I really enjoyed the stay. The only thing maybe was the cleaning charge. 2 nights 75 pounds seems a bit much. The place is amazing and perfect for families. I will definitely go back. The view is incredible and I fully recommend.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The cottage is set in a beautiful rural setting with lots of great walks accessible without having to drive anywhere. There is a great local pub a 5 minute walk along the lane and plenty more a short hike away. Jim and Diane were the perfect hosts - respecting your privacy whilst always being available to answer any questions. The property was wonderful and perfectly set up for my elderly mother who has mobility issues - extremely comfortable with fantastic views of the surrounding fields and hills. We will definitely make a return visit in the future and thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday. Many thanks for a wonderful Easter break.

Lovely stay at Steve’s place for local event, Steve was very accommodating with his parking, very friendly and very comfy accommodation The bed is indeed very comfy same as other peoples reviews Great job Steve!

We loved our stay at Watersedge Lodge, which has superb views of the valley and the nearby canal. There is a range of seating outdoors - perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The appartment was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The kitchen was stocked with good utensils/pans for home cooking, and we were grateful of a fridge and a freezer. What made our visit extra special was the hosts. They were quick to respond to messages and very understanding and accommodating of our needs. They are kind, considerate and supportive. We highly recommend Watersedge Lodge. It’s a perfect bolt hole for those needing a quiet retreat, or if you want to explore walks and bike rides on the nearby canal, or farther afield in the Yorkshire Dales. There are also lots of cultural and historical adventures to be had nearby in Leeds, Bradford, Saltaire, Keighley, Haworth and Skipton. Finally, as mentioned by all the guests…. The Yorkshire Tea loaf is a winner! ❤️

Stayed at Helen's place due to working locally for a few days. Helen was very friendly and helpful welcoming. The place was great. Had everything I needed and felt very homely. Location was perfect for me as it was only a few minutes from where I was working. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

A very comfortable place to stay with a huge TV in the lounge, comfy bed, great shower and nice helpful touches - milk and biscuits are always appreciated. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in a great dispenser in the shower and easy parking on the property. After saying I wanted to go for a walk, Mark helpfully gave me directions to the local reservoir that can be walked around. There is a nice pub opposite this road (a very short walk, just around the corner) and various other places a short drive or longish walk away. I wanted a good walk so for me, walking to the local pizza and separate fish and chip shop was good. I’d forgotten that in this part of the world fish is often fried in beef dripping, delicious! After my walk back to Mark’s place it was nice to have a cup of tea and a couple of sweet biscuits. Mark’s place is in an interesting old building which has been painted and finished inside to a very high standard. Comfortable and perfect for my needs.

Had the best time staying here for a weekend. Check in was super easy, Jess was responsive and very helpful. The property was immaculate, set with stunning backgrounds, fairy lights, and the most peaceful atmosphere. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was pristine. We went to Alton towers on the Saturday which was a 6 minute drive away. So in an ideal location. Check out was super easy, Jess was brilliant and recommending breakfast spots. All in all an amazing weekend, we can’t wait to be back!

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

This cabin is a little slice of heaven. Highly recommend the hub tub as made it even more special. zero stress from booking to leaving. Well worth every penny.

Stayed for 3 nights and didn't see one person, i even went for a walk around the area... its what I wanted, peace and quiet... beautiful inside and out. I'm definitely going again loved it, I could live there.

We have had the most amazing few days in the Damson pod. It was so clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor space is beautiful and the children loved playing freely in the sectioned off field. They loved saying hello to the alpacas every morning, and Sarah invited us to come and feed them too which my daughter was delighted about! Sarah made us feel really welcome, provided discounts for the local area and put a lovely little welcome pack with biscuits and drinks which was so nice! We had the best time and wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay, loved it. The setting was peaceful and inviting, and the complimentary fire logs were a lovely touch that made the evenings extra special. Penny was quick to respond for any queries, fantastic host

Woodcutters is a place of peace and tranquility.Private,secluded,restful.The perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.Perfect sun trap in the afternoon makes the Japanese bath a lovely experience.Would 100% recommend and would stay again

Thank you so much Steve & Kate, not only are you both exceptionally friendly and welcoming but you have created the most beautiful & peaceful place. We were absolutely blown away that you have built the lodge yourself, the hard work and dedication speaks for itself, as it was perfect. We had lots of plans for our midweek getaway but they changed as we decided to stay local to badgers bottom and check out some local walks with our dog and then back to the lodge to chill, as we found it so quiet and relaxing. Steve gave us some fab recommendations for local walks which were great. You have both thought of everything we may need for a short stay and we will certainly be back!
