The Sanctuary, Pet friendly

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Beautiful village residence but only 4 miles from stunning historic York with easy public transport access. Bring your pet too, they have indoor and outdoor space and wonderful country walks in the local area. Enjoy our sunroom, a cosy space to eat in Summer or Autumn. Our local pub is on the doorstep serving excellent home cooked meals or a take away Sunday lunch. With 2 parking spaces and secure lock up lock up for mountain bikes.

Welcome to our cosy private 1 bedroom house. Only a short walk to the Bar walls, the Shambles and York Minster, this delightful home is ideal for the perfect getaway. Enjoy a stylish lounge, kitchen area, Wifi, TV, bathroom and comfy king size bed. Beautiful and stylish barn conversion near York

The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.

Smithy’s Cottage. Delightful York cottage.

Charming York cottage with patio area and parking for 2 cars. Situated in a quiet residential private road with easy access to York centre via the main bus route at the end of the lane, or via a pleasant walk. Close to local pubs, and a shop. 5 minutes drive from a supermarket and retail park. The cottage is fully refurbished with beautifully presented new kitchen, living room, dining room, downstairs toilet, new bathroom and 2 large bedrooms. No added extra charges.

Home from home, perfect for a weekend away

Come and enjoy my cosy little home in a quiet street close to the river. Ideal for exploring historical York, visits to the university and cafes on 'Bishy' Rd. Also, very close to the Races! You can enjoy a south facing garden for relaxed morning coffee or cosy nights in front of the wood burner. The house is my home, you are most welcome to come and visit the wonderful city of York, alongside the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire. On street parking available.
