A Front porch for relaxing and a newer deck on the back for cooking out or watching the wildlife. The inside has just been completely updated, with a few original antique touches. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a half bath, downstairs a master bedroom with bathroom, open concept living room kitchen area. And Main level laundry area. Ready for a long vacation or a quick getaway.

Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. Ever wanted to see what goes on in a commercial bakery? Imagine waking to the aroma of baking bread and cinnamon rolls? Get a bird's eye view into the kitchen of the Village Hive Bakery Kitchen while staying in the newly renovated "flatlet". Salvaged & repurposed building supplies used to create a unique studio apartment above the bakery retail. Guests can enjoy the retail farmhouse table and comfortable seating space by the Main Street picture window. Cooking/baking classes available.

Sasquatch Shores: Cozy Lakeside Cabin on Star Lake

Resting on Star Lake and tucked into the north woods, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!

(Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂

Enjoy your vacation in this lovely, open concept cabin tucked away in the northwoods! There is a half mile lane winding through the woods that leads to it. It comfortably sleeps 6 guests in its two bedrooms, and full size mattress in the cozy, low-ceiling loft. This cabin is surrounded by a large yard, with a gazebo and firepit. The gazebo has a grill, with a table and 6 chairs. If you love the quiet woods setting, this will definitely be a favorite!
