Observatory House is a converted cold war nuclear bunker. **** We are currently having our roof replaced but this work is overrunning Due to this we have scaffolding erected across the front of the building. If you book we will send a reduced price option to you to accept/decline as a gesture of goodwill for any inconvenience caused****. Beautifully appointed 2-bed apartment with gorgeous views down the river Yeo. Close to 24hr amenities and countryside walks. A mill has stood at this point on the river since doomsday, +1000 years. The apartment compromises the old mill with its thick walls and small windows with a modern addition which is a bright living space with a a private patio overlooking the river below. The apartment is a tranquil place with the gentle white noise of the river flowing down the old mill water race.

Round The Bend which is maintained to a high level sits within the heart of the very quiet village Odcombe. The Masons Arms pub is just a short walk away, serving real ales and fantastic food. Brympton House which hosts many weddings and events is just over a mile away making us the perfect location. Also neighbouring Odcombe is the lovely village of Montacute which boasts the beautiful National Trust owned Montacute House. The King's Arms which is also in Montacute serves food and real ale.

This is a comfortable place to relax and escape, and an ideal base to explore famous local surroundings such as Lyme Regis and Glastonbury which are within easy driving distance. Lots of great dog walking areas and amazing wildlife. Fantastic village pub within walking distance. Please note we allow up to 2 dogs only.

The Little Dairy, at Watercombe Farm is ideally situated, being only a fifteen minute walk into Yeovil Town centre. We are also only a short walk from, Bournemouth University Campus, Westland Entertainment Centre and Abbey Manor Business Park, most of which can be reached via footpaths. A five minute drive will take you to the historic village of Montecute, leading onto the Chinnocks, Chiselborough and Norton Sub Hamdon, all of which are ideal for walking, cycling or simply a pub lunch.

The village has a grocery shop, butcher, restaurant, pub, children’s playground and lots of walking all close by. The cottage garden is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening glass of wine by the fire pit.

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Montacute. We are blessed to have the Elizabethan Montacute House of Wolf Hall fame which is considered a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. The house’s long gallery is the longest of its kind in England and displays Tudor and Elizabethan portraits loaned by the National Portrait Gallery.
