York Pa, Westminster Md, Hershey Pa, and Baltimore Md are all within a short drive. Our fully stocked home is perfect for a short visit or a longer stay if you are in town working. It’s a short 1 block walk to a fantastic family owned grocery store that sells premium meats if you like to grill out, and everything else is just a short drive away!

Carlisle and Harrisburg are approximately 45 minutes north; York is 40 minutes east and Lancaster approximately 1:20 minutes east.

The Red Barn is located in a very rural setting about 10 miles from Gettysburg. The Red Barn is approximately 1/2 mile off the main road and within a stone's throw of the Mason Dixon Line. If you are looking for a quiet space with not super internet this is the place. Plenty of books to read, miniature donkeys to watch playing with their border collie pal and on a clear night - see some awesome stars!

The apartment is in an 1862 Federal Colonial that has been divided into four apartments. I live in a first floor apartment on the premises as well as two long term residents in two of the other apartments. The AirBNB apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
