Charming home, lots of character. Kid friendly, and within walking distance of a park and grocery store. Host was very gracious and helpful when things broke, or needed maintenance. We would recommend this stay to anyone who does not require wheelchair access, and who is comfortable with proximity to trains. TLDR Beautiful, comfortable, clean, not wheelchair accessible and conveniently located!

A beautiful place with lots to do. From the fishing pond to the fun stiff in the basement to the great outdoor space, my family had a wonderful time.

Our friend group couples vacation gave us the perfect opportunity to stay at Dawn’s beautiful home. The property was immaculate and the house was very meticulously designed. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. Our husbands enjoyed ice fishing and the game cottage while us ladies enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing inside by the fire. We found ourselves gathered around the large island playing games every night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, not to mention Dawn’s extremely quick and helpful responses every time. Kudos, Dawn! 👏🏻

Four of us stayed at Ryan’s place for a girl’s weekend and it was fantastic. The home needs some cosmetic updating but that mattered not at all to us- the place was clean and perfect for us to just hang out. The views are beautiful and it’s an easy drive to downtown Galena. We especially loved how there are labels on things in the kitchen and light switches to make it easy to know where to put things or what turns something on, etc. We also loved being able to leave the house at check out and not have a laundry list of things we must do to clean up. There was a coffee maker but no coffee, so make sure if you are coming you bring your own. We just borrowed from a neighbor until we could get into town and buy some. Our stay couldn’t have been better and we so appreciate the hospitality.

Oh boy a must stay we walked in and absolutely Beautiful!!! All our needs were met!!! Jacuzzi was so nice with fun lights!! Just so pretty!!! Would stay again loved it!!♥️

Convenient location for stay purposes. House was perfect size for needs and was easy for an out of stater to find. Check in and out was easy and convenient as well. The hosts, Cody and Shannon, were both very accommodating and friendly. Will probably try to rent from this host again in the future!

We had a great stay here! The house is beautiful and private. We grilled, used the hot tub, played pool. We thoughts the beds and the linens were very comfortable!! Our whole group was impressed with the house.

The home was perfect for our group of 8 guys. The layout was great for relaxing and hanging hot without feeling cramped. all the beds and couches were very comfortable. The downstairs gaming area was awesome and the hot tub was a great way to enjoy the cool weather. We were able to park 4 vehicles in the parking area but you have to be mindful that it is a shared driveway with neighbors. I would choose this house again.
