Det er gode turmuligheter i nærområdet. Fra eiendommen kan man gå direkte opp på fjellet Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá er også i nærheten. Kort vei til andre populære fjell. Vedfyrt Sauna og Grillhytte. Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

The best thing about this peaceful retreat is the location, right in the middle of nature, secluded and only minutes from beautiful hikes, world class skiing. The meadow where the house sits, extends all the way down to the pebble beach. In the winter, watch the northern lights above the lodge. In the summer, sit on the terrace all night enjoying the midnight sun. The house was built in 2016, well-equipped, very comfortable beds.

You will have bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen room only for you while during staying time😄 The area is perfect for Northern Light, ski and ice fishing in winter. You can just wait in livingroom for the Aurora 💚😊 In summer you can enjoy fishing and walking on the beach here. House location is next to main road E8, easy to travel to another city, easy access and a bus stop also right in front here. 😊

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
