Enjoy your morning coffee on the screen porch, hike down to the lake on the nature trail used by deer and fox, and watch a spectacular Texas sunset with a view that spans from the dam to the Twin Sister peaks. We are located less than 4 miles from the Horseshoe and Whitewater Amphitheater.

Domovina Ranch Cottages ("The Hemingway")

We offer two beautiful cottages (The Hemingway and The FW) that are located on 50 acres at the end of a dead end road. Surrounded by thousands of privately owned acreage, featuring abundant wildlife (deer, turkey, birdwatchers paradise). This is a working cattle ranch so you can take in sunsets as cattle graze in front of you. Cottages are newly built and fully furnished. Lofts for reading, custom tile showers, outdoor fire pits and lounge area. Cottages are located away from main house.

Nestled on a double lot, this fenced property is perfect for guests traveling with their furry friends. With a queen bed and a full bed, our cottage is ideal for couples, families, or a group of friends looking for a relaxing getaway. A winding drive down a Texas Hill Country road, a charming cottage sits atop an elevated lot awaiting your arrival. Evening gatherings take place in a warm hot tub or a cozy campfire, perfect for making s'mores. Visit a local winery, cruise on a boat, hike the Canyon Lake Gorge, catch some sun at the “lake beach”, float the Guadalupe River with a beverage of choice or slide down the Schlitterbahn Waterpark tubes. Canyon Lake is truly a fun/relaxing place!

River Roost

River Roost is a family vacation spot on the lake that sleeps 6. It is 3 miles off Interstate 35, located in a quiet neighborhood with access to 50 feet of waterfront. It is a quick trip to downtown New Braunfels with features such as Schlitterbahn waterpark, tubing, antique and grocery stores, department stores, and a great selection of restaurants. A guest binder is provided with information about the area and surrounding communities.
