Recently refurbished historical residence in Chateau D'oex - La Soldanelle (near Gstaad). The apartment is just 400m from the town centre in a quiet, sunny, elevated position, in a quiet Cul-de-sac, south facing, with views over the town. The property has a balcony where one can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the alpine scenery in both summer and winter. Chateaux D'oex provides year round fun with numerous activities for all. The town has a large co op supermarket with a good range to select from, plus a couple of lovely local bakeries. There are several good restaurants in the town, La Gare which offers steaks on a stone, La Poste, another restaurant serving good local foods and The Bear which also has a great menu. 2 hour train ride from Geneva and 2.5 hour train ride from Basel. A Superb ski region with 250 km pistes, 66 lifts/cable ways and nurseries. Nearest piste with cable car 10 mins drive , ski school 400m. Glacier 3000 also available usually open for skiing Nov to June. Other slopes within 15 minutes driving distance. The 32nd International Balloon Festival will take place in Chateau-d'oex from the 23rd to the 31st January. With its exceptional microclimate the alpine capital will welcome around 80 balloons from over 20 countries. Brief overview of Chateau-d'oex: In both summer and winter Chateau-d'oex presents a diverse range of holiday experiences and sporting activities. The wonderful mountain scenery and old decorated chalets are typical in this area of Switzerland. Situated at around 1000 metres in altitude, a charming picturesque village situated in-between the resort of Gstaad in the Bernese Oberland and the small town of Gruyères in Fribourg. The holiday region of Pays-d'enhaut in the region of Vaud is linked to the Lake Geneva region by the Col des Mosses and by the Montreux - Bernese Oberland Railway. Hot Air Balooning Festival: Thanks to its favourable micro-climate, Château-d'oex has developed into a hot-air ballooning metropolis and in January the hot air ballooning festival is held where balloonists from around the world convene to participate in week-long competitions. Passenger flights are available throughout the year. Summer Activities: A beautiful pre-Alpine walking area lies south of Château-d'oex: La Pierreuse, the largest nature conservation area in western Switzerland contains rock areas, forests, abundant flora and flat moors. For both leading bikers and amateurs, the Pays-d'enhaut offers a large network of marked mountain biking trails along the tracks of the 1997 world championships. You can indulge in white-water sports on the fast-flowing river Saane: canyoning, hydrospeed, canoeing /kayaking and river rafting. One of Switzerland’s most beautiful river rafting routes lies between the wild Vanel and Gérignoz gorges.

Die heimelige Wohnung befindet sich in Château d’Oex 15 km von Gstaad und 25 km von Les Diablerets entfernt. Sie ist bestens ausgestattet. Der nette Ort ist bekannt für sein Heissluftballon Fest und bietet alles was man braucht. Im Hauptgebäude, welches nur wenige Gehschritte entfernt liegt, befinden sich der SPA Bereich mit Sauna, Dampfbad, Whirlpool und Swimmingpool. Ebenso gibt es einen gut ausgestatteten Fitnessraum. Cozy apartment, mountain view & fireplace

This small & cozy 2 bedroom apartment has great views over the valley and the mountains. It is in a nice chalet style apartment building and is fully equipped. It is perfectly located for skiing in the Gstaad valley, with access to La Videmanette lift in 10 minutes by car. In summer its proximity to the local swimming pool and access to the National hiking trails is just so easy. The apartment comes with an equipped kitchen and two bedrooms with a view on the mountains. Wifi included.

Swiss Alpine Chalet | Indoor Pool & Sauna | 9 pax

Our detached traditional wooden chalet is located in the small mountain resort village of Moleson. It is one of the few chalets in the village parking on the same level as the chalet and no steep steps. The chalet sleeps up to 9 people in 5 bedrooms. There is a private heated 10m indoor pool and large sauna which is for the sole use of the chalet occupants. Chalet La Taupiniere is an ideal base for skiing and snow sports in winter, or exploring/walking/relaxing in summer.
