Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

We are about 5 miles to downtown Landrum SC, 25 minutes to Spartanburg SC, 40 minutes to Greenville SC, 45 minutes to Asheville NC, and about 22 minutes to the Tryon Equestrian Center in NC. The Craftsman Studio is a new downtown addition to a 110 year old craftsman house. The addition was designed and decorated by a Greenville architect who lives in the main house. The property sits in a historic downtown neighborhood, just 4 short blocks from Main St. Although it's so close to downtown, the neighborhood is a quiet haven away from urban life. (Although there are kids in the neighborhood which could add some flare/fun noise to your day if you’re staying in.)
