The Carriage

The Carriage offers our guests a stay within a converted railway carriage. Departing for its final journey in 1952, has since been restored to its former glory. Sitting proudly on the station platform, located on the ground floor. This stunning King bedroom maintains all of it's original character, while providing guests with the luxury features you would expect. At the front of the carriage, you will find the large walk in rainfall shower, complete with a deep copper sink and copper fittings.

A spacious twin-bedded room, up one flight of stairs, in The Three Compasses Inn recently refurbished to a high standard with en-suite Shower Room. Price is for the en-suite room only but a full English Breakfast is available upon request at £10pp. During the Summer months breakfast can be taken in our beautiful Courtyard Garden! This room also boasts an outside terrace with amazing views over the Fort Augustus and the River Oich. We are also dog friendly are happy to welcome well behaved pets with responsible owners. We will even provide a bed for the extra family member. (There is an additional charge of £20 per pet).
