Fishing, tubing, hiking, whitewater, horseback riding you name it, this area has it. You can catch your limit of Rainbow or Browns without starting your car. Hike to waterfalls or do a stretch of the Appalachian Trail.

Also a great spot for nature enthusiasts as you can sit on the porch and see lots of wild birds and the ducks in the stream right across the road. On occasion you may see other species of wildlife.

HOT TUB! Lots of things to do at our River House Retreat. Fish from the bank, watch the rafters and kayakers float by. Enjoy the night sky and river at night by the fire pit and relax with a cool beverage by the river. If that is not enough excitement, how about a whitewater raft ride down the Nantahala River. A short walk to Paddle Inn for boats and stop off at your own private retreat for a half way break or just relax on the covered porch and watch the river pass by.

Escape to a waterfront home experience. Nestled on the shores of Lake Santeetlah, this lakefront retreat promises relaxation and breathtaking views. Enjoy multiple decks overlooking the calm waters, along with access to a canoe and paddleboard for recreation. Life vests are provided for safety. Fish from the private deep-water dock, swim, or float the day away. Boat rentals are conveniently located just 300 yards away, with downtown Robbinsville a mere five-minute drive.

Our Snowbird Creek Cabin is cool and relaxing. It is just minutes from “Tail of the Dragon”. It is a fly fisherman’s paradise also. Hiking trails and waterfalls abound, or just kick back and relax in the pristine setting of the Snowbird Back Country. We will allow one dog 25 pounds or under to come. No exceptions for bigger dogs. I will request a picture of the dod. The dog will not be allowed on furniture. I live next door, so i will know if my rules are not obeyed.

Our tiny cabin is the perfect romantic setting for your Smoky Mountain getaway. The kitchen is fully equipped and Starlink internet provides a reliable connection for remote work. Take our canoe out for a trip around the lake, then relax in your own private hot tub under the stars after a long day of exploring.
