Fishing, tubing, hiking, whitewater, horseback riding you name it, this area has it. You can catch your limit of Rainbow or Browns without starting your car. Hike to waterfalls or do a stretch of the Appalachian Trail.

Enjoy multiple decks overlooking the calm waters, along with access to a canoe and paddleboard for recreation. Life vests are provided for safety. Fish from the private deep-water dock, swim, or float the day away. Boat rentals are conveniently located just 300 yards away, with downtown Robbinsville a mere five-minute drive.

Snowbird Creek Cabin, Flyfish, Tail of the Dragon

Our Snowbird Creek Cabin is cool and relaxing. It is just minutes from “Tail of the Dragon”. It is a fly fisherman’s paradise also. Hiking trails and waterfalls abound, or just kick back and relax in the pristine setting of the Snowbird Back Country. We will allow one dog 25 pounds or under to come. No exceptions for bigger dogs. I will request a picture of the dod. The dog will not be allowed on furniture. I live next door, so i will know if my rules are not obeyed.

Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. Update 2025: This is a new listing for a wonderful tiny cabin that our neighbor built in 2022. We are experienced hosts and know the area well. Our tiny cabin is the perfect romantic setting for your Smoky Mountain getaway. The kitchen is fully equipped and Starlink internet provides a reliable connection for remote work. Take our canoe out for a trip around the lake, then relax in your own private hot tub under the stars after a long day of exploring.
