Plenty of local restaurants, grocery, etc. LSU's Tiger stadium only 34 minutes away! New Orleans 1 hour away. Raised entrance accessible only by stairs. Names of adult guests required.

Come relax, fish, paddle, bird watch and find some peace and quiet in the Frog House on Alligator Bayou! Spend the evenings rocking on the porch or talking around the fire pit. The Frog House is a comfortable and updated two bedroom house located at the intersection of Bayou Manchac and Alligator Bayou. Come for the weekend or spend the month exploring the historic waterways and wilds of south Louisiana. On site use of canoes and or kayaks is included with each booking, waiver required.

Nestled between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, this lovely house in Geismar, Louisiana features 3 adorable bedrooms. The primary bedroom includes a king bed. The primary bathroom has two vanities, a soaking tub and separate shower. Two spare bedrooms are each equipped with a queen bed. The guest bathroom has a bathtub and shower combo. The home has a fully stocked kitchen, WiFi, washing machine and dryer. The outdoor patio includes seating for four with an outdoor smart tv.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

Enjoy a vintage stylish experience at this centrally-located cottage. 2 miles from I10 exit 173, 2 miles from Airline Hwy (US 61) Just 60 miles from downtown New Orleans, 15 minutes from Baton Rouge. 8 miles from Lamar Dixon Expo center. Close to fine dining or fast food. The Rustic cottage is in the back of our property. It has a privacy fence, but is not completely fenced. Nice covered deck with large TV and carport
