Built in 1776 by Sir Richard Arkwright, it is part of a designated UNESCO world heritage site. We took ownership of this wonderful cottage in 2020, and have given the cottage a stylish refurb, We are experienced Airbnb Superhosts and will do everything to ensure you have a fantastic stay.

Traditional Mill cottage built in 1795 in the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site. Pubs, restaurants, country walks and the train all under 10 minute walk away. A perfect place to have a relaxing break. Feel like you've stepped back in time. No need for a car due to its easy accessibility. 17th century cottage in Matlock

A very old stone cottage but newly renovated inside. The cottage was my home, my children were all brought up there. I now live in a barn at the top of the driveway which we tried to build in as energy saving way as we could. During the cottage renovation we have tried to make the space as 'green' as possible.
