Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Haven er gået i skov med stier, der jævnligt slåes. Huset opvarmes med pejs, brændeovn og varmepumpe. Der er vaskemaskine og opvaskemaskine. Arresø ligger 5 minutters gang fra sommerhuset og 10 minutter væk ligger restaurant Tinggården. Området er præget af natur og sommerhuse og skønne strande i cykelafstand.

The house is 100 pct. holiday idyll combined with all the functionality you need. It contains a kitchen/living room with a dining area and sofa beds, as well as a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. The annex contains a cozy living room and another bedroom with a double bed. The house has several beautiful terraces and is located peacefully on a large natural plot with lots of wildlife. There is wireless internet, a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine.

Small wooden cottage located in a big parklike and lush garden, private and separate from the main house, only a few minutes to a large forest, lovely beaches and a charming town with shops, cafees and restaurants, and close to the train. It has one main room with two beds put together, a separate kitchen for simple cooking and a bathroom. The terasse has a roof and is surrounded by flowers, trees and bushes. Suited for a romantic getaway.

Det er et meget indbydende og hyggeligt hus med god plads både ude og inde.

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim. And then Oroe is only 1,5 hours drive from Copenhagen. If this house is booked, feel free to see our other house on Orø.
