The Bear's Den

Enjoy a private home while exploring the western North Carolina beauty. For more, read on. Here's a review left by my most recent guests: Five stars. Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

Mountain Getaway

Please Note: This property is not accessible with trailers or boats because of the tight turns on the road in. It is no problem for standard size cars or pickups. Come enjoy our Mountain Getaway nestled in The Nantahala National Forest and only 3 miles from Main St. in Franklin. You will enjoy quiet solitude after a full day of hiking, biking, white water rafting, or viewing some of our many waterfalls. Your GPS will get you to our door but feel free to call if further directions are needed.

Welcome to The Lazy Bear! Listen to the sounds of the creek as you relax on the front porch of this 1964 cabin. Dog friendly fenced in front yard. $50 pet fee. Nice furnishings. 7 miles to town of Franklin which offers shopping, restaurants, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, gem mining and more! Just bring your personal items, clothes and food! You will have 2 t.p., dish and washer pods, p.t. and trash bags. We are happy to announce a 10% discount for military, first responders and teachers.

Adorable & freshly renovated cabin located in a private wooded community between Highlands and Franklin in the Nantahala National Forest. Our light & airy cabin is nestled on almost 4 acres of woodsy, mountainous terrain and is private and picturesque, yet still convenient to town. We love relaxing on the front porch, surrounded by nature and enjoying the sounds of the streams & views of the mountains. It is a peaceful cabin to relax & enjoy the cool breezes and scenery of the Smoky Mountains.

Welcome to our cozy creekside cabin! Set on 3/4 of an acre, in a neighborhood setting, surrounded by beautiful trees and a small creek you can listen to while enjoying your morning coffee on the covered deck. This well-equipped cabin is only 3 miles to downtown Franklin (8 minute drive). There is also a Walmart just two miles away. Close to many activities including white water rafting, hiking, biking, waterfalls and scenic drives. 30 minutes to Highlands for great shopping & Dry Falls!

A frame with Million Dollar View

No damage or flooding in Franklin. Visitors appreciated. Gorgeous Mountain View. Perfect romantic getaway but the whole family will enjoy. Outdoor paradise!! A frame home on top of Cowee Mountain in Franklin, NC. Three bedrooms...two queen beds, one full size bed, and futon sleeper. Wraparound deck to view the majestic Smoky Mountains. A one lane gravel mountain road 1.2 miles up to A view to a thrill! New asphalt on access road and driveway to house. Relax and enjoy.
