We were in town to visit family. The home was perfectly located in a nice neighborhood. We slept good and felt very comfortable in this charming home! I have never been in an Airbnb that was so well stocked. Jenn was available if we needed anything and we would definitely stay here again.

Good value for the money with small meaningful touches like a basket of children’s toys which were helpful. Would stay here again if we are in town. Easy in and easy out of town. It’s on the main drag and cheaper than an average motel.

Our time at the Wheel House was exactly what we needed!! Relaxing, comfortable, and memory making. Scott and Ina were easy to work with and available to communicate throughout our stay. The babbling brook, the calm little lake, the turning water wheel and the bald eagle flying overhead all while sitting by a fire or in the hot tub was nothing short of a retreat. Our daughter loved paddling around the lake in the kayak. The interior was clean and comfortable and we made all meals in the well appointed kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!!

Spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated and at the same time cozy and inviting. Thoughtful ideas were added i.e. board games, a few snacks, very nice toiletries, etc. Responded promptly to a question that I had (completely my error - her instructions were thorough by all means). EXCELLENT coffee place (Utica Coffee Company) and martini/cocktail bar (Silk) downstairs. Awesome lighting with the large windows while also able to pull the curtains for privacy. The living room / TV / bed setup was so nice - made relaxing that much easier! Super comfy bed and exceptional water pressure in the shower! We at at Aqua Vino and the food was AMAZING. Silk, the martini/cocktail bar downstairs was a lot of fun - good music and creative, great tasting drinks. Walked over to Utica Coffee Company in the morning for an great tasting iced coffee and muffins.

Perfect location for skiing Gore Mountain. 4 min drive. Great Adirondack feel. Ewa checked in a few times via text. Wanting to be sure we were warm enough in the very cold temps. We were toasty. We invited her to stop in one eve to say hello and see our German Shepard. Shes a big lover of these dogs. She stopped in with some treats for him and say hello. Unit is very clean and spacious. No problems, would recommend for skiing.

Right on the Pond, can walk out onto the ice! Also a short walk to the town park and playground! Heating is limited to an oil fired unit in the living room and plug in heaters in both bedroooms and the bathroom, but we stayed plenty warm in sweats and slippers. Nice views of the lake and deer! And the garage offered space to store our outdoor gear. So peaceful!

Second time booking Adam’s property and won’t be the last. House is beautiful and well renovated with a modern touch. Location is on a peaceful street with a nice coffee shop a block and a half away (breakfast sandwich was great). Location is also very convenient for those looking to golf. For us, golfing was our primary purpose so we had a bunch of choices to choose from. Adam, as always, is a great host. He had to come by to get something from the garage and asked if it was ok beforehand. Even offered to blow off the deck so pollen doesn’t get on my car that was parked on the driveway. In my opinion, only exceptional and courteous hosts asks permission to come to their own property. Highly recommend for those taking a trip to the area. Hope to be back later this year.

Sam is an excellent host. Very responsive and friendly. The fenced in yard was nice for my dog and there was a nice park nearby that we went to for playing fetch. Very clean well maintained. I would recommend and I would also come back if ever in the area. Sam and Liz are so nice they even lent me a mixer when I needed one.
