Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas. There is Tupelo Cottage behind the home, connected by a breezeway which is available also. Each place has separate entrances, porches and driveways. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers.
