Salt Springs Lodge

This home is locally referred to as "The Lodge." It is loaded with rustic charm and tons of trophy mounts, including a full-size gator rug. This house is spacious and yet cozy all at the same time. This home is located in the Ocala national Forest and yet only a half a block away from the park, which includes basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball, shuffleboard, and corn Holes. The caregivers live close by and are very friendly and helpful when needed. NO pets allowed on property.

Although the newly renovated house is fully equipped for your stay- including a full kitchen and spacious living room- the real luxury is outside. Enjoy relaxing on the large, lakeside, fully screened-in porch while firing up the grill. Spend the day swimming, fishing, and kayaking on this serene lake. Make use of our private dock! At night, gather 'round the firepit while roasting marshmallows and stargazing.

Lots of things to do here: pools, hot tub, dog park, lake, nearby Springs, & more! Dollar General, a pizza place, a laundromat, and Springs are within walking distance. The nearest big grocery store is about 25 to 30 minutes away (Palatka or Ocala) PS: Bears spotted at the resort. Please keep all food and garbage inside the house or put the trash in the dumpster! PS: The Resort has a $35 admin/usage fee, payable before check-in, due when you fill out the resort rental agreement via DocuSign

Cottage #1

Cottage #1 is in Salt Springs Resort on the shores of Little Lake Kerr in the Ocala National Forest. You’ll be among oaks draped in Spanish moss with a view of the sparkling lake in the distance. Sandhill cranes will visit. Sunsets over the lake are legendary. The cottage has a full kitchen, TV, WiFi, and sleeps four to six. There are pools, hot tub, fishing pier, and boat ramp. In nearby Salt Springs swim at any time of year. Silver Springs with its glass-bottom boats is a half hour away.
