Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

Thru your private entrance you walk past the waterfall pond, under an arch of tree vines, into a cozy and updated home. Outside at the end of the wraparound porch you’ll find a private fire place, complete with outdoor TV and built in hammock net. On the rooftop there’s a 2 person hot tub with incredible views of the city and Dallas National Golf Club.

A wonderful home with 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. A large lot, completely fenced in back yard, with an in ground pool and a hot tub! A Nespresso machine with coffee pods for an inviting and rich cup of joe. A chef's kitchen that opens into the oversized great room living area. The house is near to a golf course at Kirtley park and we have golf clubs available for our guests. Across the street there is a lake and our guests can use the canoes and kayaks we have at the house.

On any given day, as you drive up to the property, you may spot cattle, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and guinea fowl. You'll see sprawling fields, wide open sky, and beautiful sunsets in the distance. The setting is serene, and mostly quiet...because it is the country after all!

Cute cabin located on a working farm. Enjoy the horses and cows grazing right outside. Comfortable 2 bedrooms with a sleeping loft for the kids (horizontal only for adults). Hosts live on the same property so we will usually be available if you need anything during your stay. We prefer a low-distraction lifestyle, but a TV is available on request. Limited outdoor space available.
