Charming guest house in stunning wooded valley

Our beautiful guest house is surrounded by stunning countryside - just waiting to be walked or cycled. It comfortably sleeps two (but has a travel cot for little ones) with an open plan kitchen and cosy living area, plus bathroom. Outside is a sunny garden area with table and seating. The space is really light with lots of windows and oak features. Lots of thought and love have gone into decor to make it a really lovely space. The apartment is separate from the main house and very private.

The Old Coach House at Tintern, the Wye Valley

The old coach House is a few minutes walk from the centre of Tintern on the banks of the river Wye, where you'll find the famous abbey, as well as places to eat and drink, and shops selling local crafts. The Wye Valley Walk passes the house, and the hourly bus between Chepstow and Monmouth stops just metres away. Staying at the historic Old Coach House in Tintern, you'll experience the unique charm of an early 1800s Welsh cottage, while enjoying modern comforts in a stylish and homely setting.

Relax and take in the beautiful surrounding scenery at Boathouse which sits along the bank of River Wye in an AONB with spectacular views across the river. There are plenty of activities/adventures to keep you busy! Including wild swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, climbing Yat rock, bike riding, woodland walks and fishing. Although petite in stature, the cottage oozes character with low ceilings and beams and has all the qualities needed if you are looking for a rural retreat or romantic break. There is a village shop and cafe all within a few minutes walk. The property has its own parking and all the amenities to make it a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds.

With an award winning pub on the doorstep, literally a 3 minute walk .. the gardens are pretty, with the fresh running stream, home to our ducks. We are at the foot of May Hill, a beautiful natural area for walking & exploring. A new hottub is now available and is now under cover so even rainy days can be enjoyed .

Otter Cottage (nr Hay-on-Wye)

This isolated retreat is in an exceptionally beautiful part of rural England that grazes the Welsh borders and yet is a stones throw from cultural, Hay on Wye. Traditional Otter Cottage is nestled on our secluded organic farm. Relax in your garden, enjoy views of the sparkling stream, snuggle up by a crackling log fire, wander to the pub for dinner or ramble the majestic Black Mountains! From the window you might see Kites, Fox, Kingfisher, deer and Otters.
