It’s a perfect place if you want quiet, solitude, and a private place to roam through the 33 acres of open sky, rolling hills, an antique apple orchard, and whispering pines. 2 miles to downtown Bellaire, 50 minutes to Traverse City or Gaylord. Adjacent to the Glacial Hills biking and hiking trails.

The Twig, near Lake Bellaire

This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, one-bedroom, 480-square foot cottage on property near Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $20. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets.
