A quiet 17 acre, ONE room cabin set on a private small lake, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Equipped with a full kitchen, a grill, 4 OUT DOOR showers, no showers in cabin. Sleeps 4, 1 QUEEN SIZE BED AND 1 PULL OUT HIDE-ABED. There is a $25/PP per day for extra guests , with prior approval by host. Pet friendly. Enjoy the beauty of each season at our historic Tiny Log Cabin, built in the 1800s and newly renovated on a beautiful farm setting. Please read all of the description below, and scroll to the bottom before booking! Note—the cabin can be warm in the summer and chilly in the winter due to the logs and chinking. There is a window unit AC and heater in the winter. Also note—the full restroom/shower is a 30 yard walk to the basement of our home. Kuerig with coffee. No refrigerator or microwave.

Upperville Hunt Country Cottage

The home has a standing seam metal roof, clapboard-style siding, a stone foundation, a cozy front porch, and second-floor dormer windows. The interior is painted with warm colors and accented by antique oak barn wood paneling and trim in the family room. The flooring is the original antique heart pine. The cottage is decorated as a traditional English Hunt Box, with equine art and memorabilia, lovely antiques, warm carpets on the heart pine floors, and high-end bed linens.

Aunt Judy's House (AJ's) is a 19th- century cottage completely renovated in 2015. The views of sunsets, Blue Ridge Mtns and cattle across the fence will encourage you not to leave the porch. But should you decide to wander you will find hiking, history, excellent dining and a multitude of wineries within a 10 to 40 min. drive. Some guests never get off the porch as the stress of everyday life just melts away.
