Located 8 mi from Hillsborough, (15-19 mi) to Duke University, Duke Hospital, University of NC, Chapel Hill, and Durham. Enjoy sitting on the dock and take in the nightly symphony of nature, cook outside on the flat grill, or just relax on the couch & watch the 75” flat screen. Accommodations for up to 6 people. We are a working fiber/lavender farm convenient to Raleigh, Louisburg, Wake Forest, Henderson, & Durham. Meet our alpacas, sheep, llamas, Angora goats & more. Tours are included for our guests ifAdditional visitors will need to pay a tour fee. Use of the pool is for registered guests only. Events will be considered. The unit is a 700 sq ft apartment over a garage with private entrance. Twenty stairs lead up to the apartment. A pullout couch accommodates 2 younger children or a teenager/adult.

Less than 1 mile to the Falls Lake Boat ramp located on HWY 50 just across from the Mountain to Sea Trail. Well behaved dogs welcome and must be attended in/outdoors.

Come get away from it all—while conveniently close to everything—at Laurel Branch Gardens, a 12-acre farm that uses organic growing practices. About 100 yards from the farm house, the cabin is a renovated tobacco barn with a sleeping loft, full kitchen, bathroom (with a shower and composting toilet), and living area. Meet the pigs and chickens. Lay in the hammock. Listen to bird calls. During June and July u-pick blueberries will be available for harvest for $3.50/lbs.
