Blame Mabel - A Cabin Among the Vines ~ #1

The cabin sits among the vines on our working vineyard at Blame Mabel. It opens straight onto the rows. A simple country kitchen, sunlit and arranged for cooking at your own pace. A fire gets lit in cooler months, and the bedroom wakes with the sun. Outside, a table sits where the light hits the vines. Blame Mabel is within reach of Geelong and Melbourne, yet the property has the calm and space of the country all to itself. There’s no television. Reception comes and goes. Nights are still.

La Maison

Stylish home with beautiful views looking out over the adjacent Wombat State Forest is just a short walk to the main street of Blackwood. You can enjoy breakfast or light lunch at the Post Office Café, perhaps a pub meal at the Blackwood Hotel, but for an amazing food experience, Blackwood Ridge is a must, but advanced bookings are advisable. There are many beautiful walks through the forest, and down by the Lerderderg River, and Garden of St Erth nursery, gardens and Café are also close by.

The Container House and Sauna in Wombat State Forrest, Blackwood Victoria. Comprised of two fourty foot shipping containers, fitted out to create a unique and comfortable stay. With two bedrooms (1 queen and 1 bunk room) the house sleeps four comfortably. More beds may be available subject to availability.
