This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Woodford Retreat. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoy this home. Nelda is a tremendous host and very helpful. The home is so beautiful and well appointed. We love Owensboro and feel so blessed to be able to stay near the activities we like to do. Nelda has set the bar high for Airbnbs!

Marla is an exceptional host. Checked in the first morning to make sure the first night of the stay went well. She is very responsive and an excellent communicator! I enjoyed my stay very much and look forward to my next trip!

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and very easy to get to our events for the weekend. Beds were comfortable. House was very clean and a nice place to rest for the weekend.

Cozy cottage was the perfect title for this. From the entrance to the sun room throughout the cottage, everything was excellent. First, because I rate anywhere I stay based off cleanliness, this property exceeded that expectation. It was prestine,and every fixture, decorative piece, and amenitiy was detail oriented. Everything was at our fingertips and Benita checked in several times to make sure we didn't need anything. It was the perfect home away from home and we will definitely be staying again. Side note:For some reason, our Gps kept taking us past the street, I guess to take us to the black of the property which was a little confusing so when you see the street name, go ahead and turn instead of following the gps if it tells you to go to the next street. No fault to Benita for this, just a note for those getting to the property 👌🏾

Great place to stay! We spent the days at Interlake State Recreation area (25 minutes away) and spent the evenings here. Host was friendly and the house was clean! No issues with our trip

This was our second stay at Nathan's place. After spending a few days here last August, it felt like coming home. Very convenient, clean, and spacious, with just about everything you could possibly need (including a crockpot and various baking dishes, which came in handy for our Easter dinner). We were able to use the rooftop deck every day, too. A+ all around.

This place was absolutely perfect - the cute Easter decorations were icing on the cake. We were there for three days of fishing in their pond with our son and his wife. He loves to fish - and we had a great time. There was a thermostat for both floors - the kids used the A/C upstairs, and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows opened downstairs. The kitchen was perfect for all our cooking needs and we fixed most of our meals right there. Our last meal was around the fire pit which was such a nice way finish up our weekend there. Mary Jane, one of the owners, stopped to check on us shortly after we arrived. We had a nice chat and this too was such a nice touch. We had tons of room for the four of us and enjoyed games on the little round table next in the living room and had our meals at the long table just off the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return some time again in the near future.

We have stayed at Randall and Maria's place countless times over the past two years when we were down visiting our son at Kentucky Wesleyan. Their place was perfect for us and our dog, Lucy. This is our last visit now that our son is graduating. If we ever find ourselves in Owensboro again, I would definitely book this place ❤️

The stay at Leslie’s was fantastic! The cottage is beautifully done, super cozy, and clean. We had a wonderful time staying here, thanks for having us! Absolutely one of the best places we’ve stayed. The area was also extremely quiet and it was so serene! Truly just an excellent experience.
