The floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to feel one with the outdoor surroundings. Views of tamarack trees, cattails, and wetland flowers, the wildlife thrives on this protected piece of property, so expect to see deer, rabbits, squirrels, birds, fireflies, and an occasional bobcat sighting.

Rustic cabin originally built in 1951, less than a mile from Elk Rapids and 12 miles from downtown Traverse City! Boat launches and beaches in every direction. I want to reiterate the rustic aspect. The cabin is old. The tile is marked in places, the carpet weathered. The places has..character. Sit around our campfire and enjoy stargazing. Crystal clear Elk Lake access is just a short 5 minute walk away.
