You will be close to everything when you stay at this home located in the historic lakeside village of Elk Rapids. One street from Lake Michigan’s beautiful shore, where there is a playground, basketball, and tennis courts. The home itself was one of the first in Elk Rapids! It’s open floor plan provides lots of space to enjoy both inside and out. Escape the village and visit Traverse City or the wineries, each only 30 minutes away. Don’t forget to pick up a fresh cherry pie along the way!

Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek, a one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

The Gila Pad on River St

The Gila Pad rests above River Street in quaint downtown Elk Rapids, just 10 minutes from Flintfields and the Traverse City Horse Shows. The highlight of this beautifully appointed loft is its spectacular rooftop deck! You have the feel of a wide open space, with a slatted privacy screen creating a feeling of seclusion from neighboring buildings. Look out over town with your morning coffee, retire with your evening glass of wine and a sunset, or simply stargaze on warm summer evenings.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

The perfect launching point for all NW Michigan has to offer.

Sommer's Retreat

Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.
