We love staying at Matthew's place. The property is just a minute walk from the most beautiful beach on the Island. The room we stayed in was pretty basic but had everything we needed, plus having access to the kitchen was great as we would make our own breakfast in the morning. It's a 20 minute walk from the town, through the jungle but that was one of thing that we actually enjoyed about it. Walking at night, through the jungle and stoping at the baseball field (in the middle of the jungle) to watch the stars, in absolute silence, was a highlight of our stay there. It just had this amazing feel to it, with a gentle breeze and horses grazing at night, something I"ll never forgot. Great value for the money!

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay, we rented a quad which made the location great. The sound of the ocean and cooling breeze was beautiful. We would return.

El alojamiento de Slim es genial para los que quieren visitar la isla, tiene lo suficiente para pasar unos cuantos días. Slim es una maravillosa persona que siempre estuvo al servicio nuestro, es amable y nos ha propuesto muchas cosas para hacer y lugares donde ir. Muchas recomendaciones, a pesar que ella no habla español pudimos entendernos con mi pobre inglés. La ubicación es sencilla en Google Maps, es un camino de barro saliendo de la calle principal. Tal vez está un poco alejado por lo que es seguro que tengas que tomar taxi para ir al otro lado de la isla, cuestan 20 Córdobas y un extra de otros 20 por buscarte. Slim tiene contactos de taxistas y restaurantes. La habitación es pequeña, baño fuera, con una cama, ventilador y mueble para dejar algunas cosas, hace falta algo más de almacenamiento, sólo para mochila. Si volvería a ir a la casa de Slim y la recomiendo 100% a la gente que no busque lujo sino un lugar tranquilo y sencillo con lo necesario y busque un buen trato.

The coconut castle was very nice and cozy. Artfully done. Close to a beautiful beach that for the most part we had all to ourselves! Don and Kathy and all the staff were friendly helpful and kind. Made us feel at home.

We had such a great stay at Patricia and Alan’s house. Very welcoming people that almost made us feel like we were staying at a couple of host parents. Super helpful and provided lots of good tips during our short stay. The room was cute and had both AC and hot water. It could maybe have benefitted from an extra time with the vacuum cleaner, but it wasn’t something we couldn’t ignore. Thanks for a great experience and stay!

Miss Jennifer and her husband were absolutely lovely. From the moment we arrived she was waiting for us and said “welcome home”- a very sweet way to be greeted. Miss Jennifer was very helpful and easy to talk to. On top of that the room looked even better than the photos. Bathroom and bedroom were spotless… thank you Miss Jennifer!!!!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön un gemütlich. Julieta war sehr freundlich und äusserst zuvorkommend, sie hat uns direkt essen angeboten und sich um ein Taxi gekümmert. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We had a wonderful time staying with Pat and Alan and their pups Sandy and Bruno. We had to leave Little Corn unexpectedly due to weather and Pat was able to accommodate our changes and was there to pick us up at the dock with a smile. The location is a bit remote, but the reward is stunning views and access to gorgeous beaches. We were able to have a scooter delivered to the property too, which gave us the freedom to easily explore the island. Breakfast was wonderful - Alan makes a mean omelette. They easily accommodated our vegetarian diet. We were able to join in on Alan’s birthday celebration during our stay too, which was a real treat. Thank you, Pat and Alan!
