The space is accessed via a couple of steps with the open plan living area all on ground level consisting of a king size bed with luxury linen. The kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge, microwave and coffee m, Sofa bed and dining table. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

A romantic historic tower for 2

The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.

A Victorian terraced cottage. Birthplace of author Edith Pargeter (Ellis Peters), renowned for her Cadfael stories. Boasting lovely views , a spacious open-plan ground floor with modern, well equipped kitchen, a lounge area with log burner and a double sofa bed. The first floor: bathroom with roll top bath, a master room with king sized bed and a second bedroom with twin single beds.

The School House, a charming 200-year old cottage.

Marnwood School House is a beautiful holiday cottage with bags of charm. The cottage dates back 200 years, where it was originally used as a school house for the poor but Reverend Bartlett in 1824. The property has been fully restored to an excellent standard, whilst still retaining its period character. The property is just a few minutes drive from Ironbridge, which offers lots of attractions and activities for all ages, as well as great places to eat.

The Grooms Lodgings, Pitchford

A lovely, comfortable modern apartment within Lower Farm House set in a tranquil rural location just 5 miles from Shrewsbury, and yet only a short distance from Church Stretton, Ironbridge and Much Wenlock, all of which are only approximately 20 minutes away. The apartment is fully equipped so is a true home from home with a little extra. An ideal location of visiting family at Concord College. Please note we do not accept third party bookings.

We are ideally situated for a relaxing stay in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Coalbrookdale is steeped in history, the home of Abraham Darby's Iron ore smelting works. The Museum of Iron & Enginuity are both just a short walk away, where the ruins of Abraham's original furnace still stands. The Coalbrookdale Arms is a friendly local pub, the Furnace Kitchen is great for breakfast with Ironbridge's many bars & restaurants close by.
