The Old Factory, Carding Mill

A historic building in the heart of Carding Mill Valley, National Trust site. The Old Factory is the oldest building in the valley, in the middle of the Shropshire hills. Hill walks, cycling, star gazing, and wild swimming from your door, then home to the ideal place to relax. This ground floor apartment, with courtyard, is a beautiful stroll into Church Stretton with independent shops, pubs, cafes, and train station. There's also a National Trust cafe two doors away, stocked with treats.

Tiny Barn

The Tiny barn is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with numerous walks from the working dairy and sheep farm - it is just the ground floor and has a small double bed with access to one side, sofa bed, small shower room and kitchenette. It has a dedicated Airband satellite hub for WiFi and is generally very good. It’s a very old building right in the middle of our farm near the cow sheds so expect lots of cows, tractors, farm smells and farmers! Guests can park just outside the tiny barn.

Located in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, come and relax & unwind in our modern self-contained cottage. Annexed to the main house, the "Studio" has it's own front door, private access & parking. With all mod-cons including a dishwasher, free WiFi and Freely TV, the Studio is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Located 3 miles east of Church Stretton & a 35 minute walk to the popular Royal Oak pub in Cardington, a favourite haunt of the locals.

Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

This is a private en suite room, located in the peaceful village of Cardington, 5 miles from the market town of Church Stretton. The room has it's own private entrance and is separate to the owners house. A continental breakfast of cereal and pastries will be served to your room each morning at a time to suit you between 08.00 - 10.00. The local pub The Royal Oak is located within a two minute walk away. Check website for opening times) Great for country walks, cycling and mountain biking.

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access and a smart TV.

This brand new unique 2022 log cabin is a thing of beauty. Wood work at its finest. Sitting on stilts, set into the hillside of the Onny Valley, the eye-catching glossy cedar pops against the countryside greens. 2 magnificent rooted logs embrace the entrance to the staircase with curvy blonde oak rails enticing you into the cabin. Black Sheep Barn is a luxurious two bedroom converted barn situated near Ludlow in a remote, undiscovered pocket of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Explore miles of hill, wild heath and forest and then sit by the fire or perhaps on the terrace and enjoy fifty mile views to the Welsh border. It’s a good place to get away from it all as it’s a half mile up a steep track from the nearest road. We think it is a special place and we hope you will think so too.

Ideal for walkers & cyclists alike the cottage offers plenty of space for you to relax & unwind. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets in the summer or during the autumn/winter months, the cottage becomes a wonderfully snug hideaway, with the woodburning stove making it the perfect place to curl up after exploring the local area. Not suitable for babies or toddlers.

A romantic historic tower for 2

The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.

A lovely, comfortable modern apartment within Lower Farm House set in a tranquil rural location just 5 miles from Shrewsbury, and yet only a short distance from Church Stretton, Ironbridge and Much Wenlock, all of which are only approximately 20 minutes away.
