Minutes from the coast, with direct access to miles of walks and cycle routes in The New Forest, Mallards is a charming one bedroom detached cob cottage set in the large garden of our family home. An ideal place to unwind and relax, it is set away from from the rest of the property so guests can enjoy their privacy, but hosts are close by to help if needed. Clean and very comfortable the cottage is full of charm with a private patio area with views over the garden and open countryside beyond.

Stylish New Forest rural hideaway near Lymington

Relax in this contemporary rural bungalow on the forest and close to the sea. Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Close to the historic coastal town of Lymington and railway station, an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history plus interesting architecture much of which is Georgian and Victorian. Cosy living space, wifi, smart TV, kitchen and bathroom with large shower, bedroom with king size bed. It also includes a lockable undercover storage for two bikes.

Otherwise enjoy a ramble from your door across the forest but watch out for donkeys !

Located in the centre of Beaulieu, this beautifully refurbished 17th Century cottage is an ideal base from which to relax and explore the New Forest. Situated on a quiet road in the beautiful village, you can walk to Monty's Inn pub nearby for dinner and visit the popular cafe opposite for breakfast. You may even see donkeys walking along the High Street! The cottage has a very spacious ground floor with an open kitchen/large dining area plus a cosy lounge where you can enjoy the log burner.

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Less than 2.5 miles from the historic centre of Winchester, this peaceful retreat is perfect for those looking to visit the city, or escape for some peace. Just a few minutes walk from the famous Clarendon Way, and a 30 minute walk to the city centre.
