Open the classic wooden shutters and let in the morning sun at this peaceful abode in the suburbs. The kitchen fridge and small appliances, family room, upstairs laundry, and basement game tables. We enjoy hosting our guests and are happy to help with any information and/or suggestions to make their visit as enjoyable as possible. Located in a quiet suburb, there's a park with tennis courts and a playground within walking distance. A short Uber or taxi ride reaches dozens of excellent restaurants and shops in locations such as the cozy downtown Elmhurst area. We are 10 minutes away from public transportation from Elmhurst to downtown Chicago. If you have a vehicle, parking is inexpensive at the Elmhurst train station. If you do not have a vehicle, we recommend taking Uber or Lyft to the Elmhurst train station. If you are planning to drive into the city of Chicago, we recommend using either SpotHero or ParkWhiz parking apps. We will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If you have any special needs or requests, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

You’ll receive a passcode before arriving into the house as well as your room. You also have access to another room which can be used for work, phone calls, or screaming into a pillow. Your room has water, coffee, and various snacks as well as bath essentials. In your own bathroom which is NOT shared

Enjoy this 1950's raised ranch in the quiet Washington Historic District of West Chicago. With in walking the historic downtown with great coffee shops, restaurants, and thrift shops, while also being a short train ride to downtown Chicago or a short car/bike ride to forest preserves, bike paths and other downtowns. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. 2 bedrooms have queen beds, and the 3rd room has a trundle bed that can be pulled into a queen. There is an additional loft space for work.

20 miles from Downtown Chicago 20 minutes on Metra. 30 minutes from ORD and MDW airports Our top-floor bedroom area is large, spacious, and hip. The brand new twin bed (Jan 24) has sweet decor and an additional bed can be provided upon request for one extra guest. Mid-term stays love this room for quiet studying, the view of the courtyard, and the in-room mini fridge. A desk and chair are provided, plus a cute mini fridge to save a long walk for night owls to the kitchen.
