This newly refurbished cottage has interiors designed by a local, proffesssional interior designer giving it a cosy, stylish ambiance further enhanced by the log burning stove and luxury furnishings. The south facing cottage gives a light airy feel throughout and has a small outside space for drinks and dining.

Part of the beauty of Woodend is even though you are surrounded by fields, it’s only a stroll into Dumfries town centre (20 mins) where you will find pubs, restaurants and shopping.

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one of a kind. Kick back and relax in the comforts of our stylish space accompanied with hot tub. The apartment neighbours a 14th Century Abbey and a prime salmon fishing river. We are located opposite the Abbey Arms pub if you feel the need to quench your thirst or enjoy a game of pool! *Please note - we do not supply logs for the log burner, although can arrange at a supplementary fee. Highview offers a fantastic view of the idyllic Scottish countryside. Whether you love to walk, cycle or relax by the wood burning fire then this is the perfect spot for you all to unwind after a great day out. We have a secure outhouse that you can use to store all your bicycles during your stay. Located a few miles from Dumfries, Lochmaben and Lockerbie. You can access outdoor pursuits, art and cultural heritage and spa facilities. This is a non-smoking and pet free cottage.

Perfect to kick back and relax after a day of exploring the many attractions and scenery. parking is available.

Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.
