The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. KEY FEATURES - One bedroom – upstairs, with kingsize double and single bed, space for travel cot. - One shower room/toilet – downstairs. - Sleeps up to three, and infant. - Private outside terrace area with view, shared use of 1.5 acre secure meadow & gardens. - Dogs welcome, two maximum, small additional charge. - Young children welcome (but you may need to bring a stairgate for safety). - Smart TV (Netflix, iPlayer, Freesat etc). - Good-quality broadband/Wi-Fi (free). - Induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge (freezer available if required), dishwasher. - Dining table for four, two leather sofas. - Washing machine (and use of dryer if required). - Underfloor heating (powered by eco-friendly air source heat pumps). - Wood burner, first basket of logs free. The Granary stylish,rural, countryside cottage

The Granary is a detached, self catering stone built character countryside / rural cottage, believed to be over 300 years old. It is converted from a former dairy and grain store, and retains many original features which gives this spacious king size sleigh bedded cottage a romantic feel. It is surrounded by countryside and woodland and indeed the Gloucestershire Way runs right by the door as well as the Wysis Way and there are many Forest countryside walks available directly from the cottage.

Our cottage is a charming converted stone stable. Unwind beneath oak beams or relax in the oak framed west-facing sunroom - perfect for relaxing on the rare 4 seater 'Bishops Pew' after exploring the Forest. Ruardean is the birthplace of ‘Horlicks’ and the ‘Who Killed The Bears’ mystery. It is an ideal Forest & Wye Valley base with a shared garden, secure bike storage, and parking (EVC available). The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

Woodside cottage. Wood burner. Amazing views

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, this cosy getaway is a professionally converted and exquisitely decorated annex to our main property. This conversion was completed in 2022. PLEASE NOTE... You are welcome to use the woodburner during the summer months (May - Sept inclusive) but I do not supply firewood during this period. Please bring your own supplies of firelighters, kindling and logs if you would like an inside fire during the summer.

Mill Garden Lodge Romantic Spa break in the Forest

Mill Garden Lodge is one of 2 delightful properties at Parish Mill Holidays. We are dog friendly and accept one small dog, there is a small fee of £25. The properties sit in 7 acres of beautiful well maintained grounds, located just outside the picturesque village of Longhope, on the outskirts of the Forest of Dean, an area of outstanding natural beauty. A perfect place to escape for some R&R and explore the Ancient Forest and surrounding area.
