Character Cottage West Dorset

Detached character cottage ( 18th century ) in a beautiful location six miles from the Jurassic coast. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, there are spectacular views from the large garden across West Dorset. A thatched pub is in the pretty village. The Cottage is in a quiet location accessed by a sloping path or a flight of steps. It has a large living room with open fire and a kitchen diner. There are three bedrooms which can sleep up to 5 guests, a bathroom and a separate shower room.

Peaceful cottage in West Dorset - AONB

A pretty detached historic 3 bedroom flint cottage up a private drive with a wood burner, delightful private garden, terrace, summer house and deck area overlooking a pond full of wildlife. Set in an AONB it is walking distance to the charming village of Thorncombe with a great community run shop and playground. There are lots of walks from the doorstep, plenty of wildlife and no light pollution, so amazing night skies, with the Jurassic coast and plenty of historic houses close by to explore.

In Dorset's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with plentiful peace and quiet, surrounded by rolling hills, patchwork fields and thick hedgerows - and our cattle, sheep and horses. Immediately adjacent is your own big, heated, private and well-appointed shower-room & loo, often complimented by our guests. Jurassic Coast 9 miles as the seagull flies.

2 Bedroom Spacious Farm Cottage

All the photos are taken on or at the farm. The cottage sits within a ninety acre farm, Higher Easthams Farm.The market town of Crewkerne is a pretty, ham stone town that sits in beautiful countryside perfect for all manner of outdoor pursuits. The River Parrett and trail runs through the farm . We are only 30 minutes drive from the world heritage site that is the Jurassic coast, which has the towns of Lyme Regis famous for its fossils and Bridport which are popular for the beach and cafes.

The Old Dairy, with beautiful westward views.

This stylishly converted old dairy has oak and beams and flooring and has beautiful far reaching views west towards Lyme Regis . It is perfect the perfect base for exploring this part of the beautiful Jurassic-coast, browsing around the Georgian market town of Bridport, fossiling in Lyme Regis and walking in the West Dorset’s Area Of Outstanding Beauty. Relax in the evening light out in the garden area looking over the fields and woods. Picnic is in the woodland with the bbq provided .

Little Knapp, Beautiful Studio Cottage West Dorset

A detached (dog friendly) studio cottage located in the beautiful West Dorset village of Thorncombe, about 9 miles from the seaside resort of Lyme Regis. Gardener’s Cottage is a renovated period cottage and has been fitted to a high standard. It has 1 bedroom with a king-size double bed and en-suite shower room. The open plan living area has a modern integrated kitchen, armchair, sofa and dining table. It’s perfect as a quiet bolthole or a romantic retreat for two. Sunnyside at Waterhouse Farm is a spacious farmhouse on our working farm in West Dorset, surrounded by fields and woodland. The house has a fenced garden and easy access to miles of local footpaths. Upstairs are two large ensuite bedrooms: one with a king bed, the other with either three singles or a double and single.
