Wonderful host and a wonderful space. Extremely spacious and private, with lovely grounds and a terrific tennis court. We booked a grocery delivery to arrive after we checked in, but it was early and Serena sorted it out and even put everything away, very thoughtful. We booked The Barn after being let down by another property. One of our party uses a wheelchair and whilst The Barn isn’t fully accessible, Serena went through every detail in advance and it enabled us to bring some of our own equipment to ensure the property worked for us. Five Star in every way.

Janey was the perfect host. We arrived a little early and she very flexibly let us check-in, despite having to prepare everything herself as her cleaner was not available. We also arrived a little unprepared and on a Sunday but Janey had left all the essentials we needed to tide us over including a delicious homemade cake, croissants for breakfast the following morning, milk, butter and eggs. The setting is lovely overlooking a very large pond with a lot of visiting geese and ducks. There are little boats and life jackets for children. This is an ideal spot for a family holiday with the fossil beach at Kerridge Bay only an hour away by car and a number of lovely walks on Iron Age hill forts very close by, as well as lovely villages and National Trust properties. We would highly recommend Janey's property for a relaxing, comfortable and homely holiday. I am sure we will be back.

Had an amazing stay, Roger was extremely kind allowing my grandson to feed the animals both days. Great location for visiting area, highly recommend the Tank museum and Seabeats restaurant in Weymouth. Accommodation was bright light and airy, also well equipped and clean.

awesome place to stay, would highly recommend. stayed in lambing season and the field is right outside so you can watch them playing in the field. got a tour of the farm and just a beautiful place. disabled facilities and wet room was excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at this property as a family of 4 adults and 2 young children. The lake and walks were a highlight. We would definitely recommend the stay, and visit again! Gorgeous facilities (bath, shower and hot water) kitchen was great for home cooking. Found everything we needed. We did struggle to find the property with the postcode/address on Airbnb (look out for the faded wellhayes sign). And we also thought from the listing that the nook with the double bed was for 'extra' guests, but was in fact the third bedroom for guests 5 and 6. This was OK for us as my children are young, but its not a bedroom as such. Despite the rainy weather, we had a great 4 days in the surrounding area 😃

Fantastic cottage in beautiful surroundings. Jill was a great host and the cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Our children loved the shared garden and the views from the rear of the property are stunning. Seatown is a 15 minute walk away with a beautiful beach and coastal walks. We also enjoyed delicious meals at The Anchor Inn in Seatown. A perfect base to explore the Dorset coast, we would love to stay at Jill’s cottage again.

We had a really wonderful stay at Tor View Cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful with the most stunning outlook. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The master bedroom is very spacious. There are lots of places to visit nearby. Donna was helpful and friendly in all of our interactions and left us some scrummy scones. All in all, a top choice for a Somerset stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Valley View. It's set in gorgeous surroundings and less than ten minutes to lyme regis by car. The property was absolutely spotless and the perfect space for a short break. We stayed for three nights and wished we had booked for longer!

Fantastic location and Property. Everything you need for a super chilled comfortable stay. Lots to see and do around the area, and Cat is the ideal host. If your looking at this review, just book the Pig House, you won't regret it.

Incredible place and perfect destination to unwind! Local areas are great and the Wimborne Pig is one of THE best pub restaurants we've been to!

The best Airbnb we've stayed in. A beautiful barn renovation that combines the charm and character of original stonework and beams with contemporary interiors and luxurious facilities. A lovely tranquil outlook across a large paddock towards unspoilt countryside beyond, a perfect place to unwind and relax. And a warm, friendly welcome from hosts Kate and Jules, for whom nothing was too much trouble. We'll be returning!

A lovely place to stay. We were walking the South West Coastal Path, so this made an excellent base. The house is comfortable to stay in: plenty of hot water, warm, and great facilities. Comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. An excellent welcome pack too. It's a good location to explore the Dorset coast, and lots of paths for walking too. The cafe is in a fabulous location with excellent food. A good place for breakfast - we just wish we had longer and are already talking about when we can go back.

We really enjoyed the two nights we stayed at the lodge and would definitely visit again for a longer period another time. Suzanne was responsive and the lodge was very clean and well equipped. The location was straightforward to find and convenient for nearby Sherborne with cafes and shops (12 min drive) and the Jurassic coast (35-45 min drive)

We stayed for two nights while in the area for a friend’s wedding and absolutely loved this beautiful cottage. It’s full of character, with gorgeous natural light, a cosy feel, thoughtful styling, and high-quality fittings throughout. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchen were both beautifully renovated and well-equipped with everything you could need. Laura was very welcoming - she met us on arrival, left some delicious local produce for us, and shared great recommendations for places to eat nearby (breakfast at The Old Dairy was a highlight!). Our stay was peaceful and relaxing, and we’d definitely love to come back. Thank you very much, Laura!

We had a fantastic stay at the Music Barn, stunning house, excellent facilities and extremely cosy, everything we could wish for. A visit to the local Old Diary Cafe is a must - delicious home-made food, exceptional quality and well worth the money. Dan was a fabulous host, very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

The house was stunning and perfect for our family getaway with a lovely communal open plan space but also private space in the bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and showers which was a huge bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were greeted on arrival by the host. We all had a wonderful stay.

We were looking for a short break during the half term, with lots of indoor and outdoor activities for our kids (10 yrs, 6yrs, 7 months). The indoor heated pool and the activity room were god sent especially because couldn't do a lot of outdoorsy stuff as our little one was under the weather. The living space was spacious and clean and the location was stunning. Great getaway for all of us! Would love to revisit!

Had a short weekend at the flat on this loverly farm. If you want some where to chill and have some peace then this is the place to be. Add the style of the flat inside and out and how helpfull Lucy and her crew are, you the have this perfect place. The correspondence and information on the arrival and departure is first class. There is a nice little pub no more than a five minute drive called The Antelope Inn, very friendly. Thanks again Lucy for a wonderful stay.

So glad we booked to stay at The Stables as it was absolutely perfect for a little family getaway. The property was absolutely spotless, with many handy items in the kitchen, books and games for the children and even garden games too. We loved being situated on a farm and our children were lucky enough to help move the cows across the road to another field! Ava and Chris were really friendly and gave us locations of local shops and attractions. This was the perfect place to stay while visiting attractions in Yeovil and Sherborne and we'd love to stay again. Thank you for a great and memorable trip

We had a wonderful stay at the Atrim Loft. The location was excellent, very peaceful and only 5 mins drive to Bridport/West Bay. The spiral staircase is very steep as others have mentioned but we managed it ok, our dog had to use the external stairs. We loved the extra comforts, plenty of blankets for dogs, local milk, butter and bread - lovely touches. The kitchen is very well stocked and has an excellent glass & mug selection! Special shout out to the hosts dog Roger who we fell for, he was very calm and patient with our bouncy 2 year old lurcher.

We couldn’t fault Eddy & Caroline’s place. Such a beautiful place, so thoughtfully laid out and such attention to detail. The location is perfect as a base to explore the Jurassic coast and the Cider house was so cosy to stay in on the odd rainy day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you !

The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly want for cooking Accommodation was comfortable and cosy Definitely had a farmhouse vibe and we look forward to returning The Wi-Fi was super slow and only available in the games room. Overall mobile data network in the area wasn’t up to much we tried 3 different networks. There was a issue with the oil heating Which was resolved before we even got there. Outdoor seating & bbq which we used as a fire pit was great too! Top marks. Happy guests
